Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions of the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland UK & Ireland Loyalty Programme for Guests.

1. Definitions

"Company" means Leonardo Hotel Management (UK) Limited, registered in Ireland no. 418679, registered address 146 Pembroke Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

"Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member" means a person that has registered for and been accepted as a member of the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Loyalty Programme for Guests.

"Hotel Stay" is a night or nights that a Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member stays in a Participating hotel, pays for their stay and register the stay.

"Membership" means membership of the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Programme.

"Participating Hotel" means any of the hotels owned or operated by the Company in the UK or Ireland other than a hotel that in the sole opinion of the Company should cease to be a Participating Hotel.

"Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points" means the points awarded to a Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member for a Hotel Stay in a Participating Hotel which shall entitle a Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member to points in accordance with clause 3 of this agreement which in turn shall entitle the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member to Programme Rewards.

"Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Programme" means the programme entitling Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland members to the benefits offered and subject to these terms and conditions.

"Programme Rewards" means the gifts contained in Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland gift collection.

"Gift collection" means the list of the Programme Rewards issued by Company.

"Benefits" means the benefits awarded by the Company to a Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member based on the members tier level and such benefits can be altered by the Company if it, in its sole opinion, believes that any of the benefits should cease or be modified.

2. Membership

2.1 Membership to the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Loyalty Programme is offered at the sole discretion of the Company.

2.2 Membership entitles a Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member to Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points for qualifying stays, and the redemption of the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points entitles the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member to Programme Rewards subject to all applicable laws and regulations and subject also to income tax and other taxes which shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member.

2.3 A Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member must quote his or her membership number at the time of booking to avail of Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points.

2.4 If more than one Membership is assigned to a person, he or she will only receive Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points on one account and the duplicate account or other accounts will be cancelled.

2.5 The Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member is obliged to notify the Company in writing of any change in address from the address in the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Programme application form.

3. Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points

3.1 The Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member will receive Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points for any qualifying Hotel Stay paid for by him/her and for any food and beverage expenses charged to his/her room.

3.2 A qualifying stay is any direct booking made online at leonardohotels.co.uk or by phone directly with a Leonardo Hotel Customer Contact Centre or via approved GDS channel.

3.3 Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points WILL NOT be awarded or received for:    
(a) the purchase of the Company gift vouchers,    
(b) charges incurred for conferences including room hire and food and beverages and banquet functions,    
(c) Third party travel websites such as expedia.com, lastminute.com, laterooms.com and booking.com, FIT rates, Fam rates, Tour Group or Series rates and any discounted promotional rates via third party agents such as Superbreaks, Time Out, Tesco ClubCard.

3.4 Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points cannot be earned simultaneously on Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland for Guests and Leonardo Hotels Business Booker where the named member is the same.

3.5 Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points will be awarded in local currency where Hotel Stay has taken place. The Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member will receive 10 points for every Pound Sterling or Euro spent in any Participating Hotel. This may be subject to change at the discretion of the Company.

3.6 A Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member is only eligible to receive Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points if the room is reserved in a Participating Hotel in his or her name and is personally occupied and paid for by the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member.

3.7 A Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member may only receive Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points for a maximum of two rooms - one self-occupied room and one other room. The additional room must booked in the members name and paid for by the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member.

3.8 A room in a Participating Hotel being occupied by one or more Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member will only attract Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points to one Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member.

3.9 Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points accrued by a Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member are for the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member’s sole benefit only and may not be assigned or transferred to any other person.

3.10 Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points may take up to 10 days to be credited to the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member's account.

3.11 Points will only be backdated if requested and for a maximum period of 3 months. The Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member must provide proof of completed booking in order to backdate points. Points are backdated at the sole discretion of Leonardo Hotel Management (UK) Limited.

4. Programme Rewards and Gift Collection.

4.1 Programme Rewards may take up to 60 days for delivery.

4.2 Programme Rewards must be claimed in the manner specified by the Company.

4.3 Once a Programme Reward has been claimed, it cannot be exchanged.

4.4 The Gift Collection and the Programme Reward can be altered by the Company at its sole discretion either partially or wholly.

4.5 Free Room Night Awards can only be booked online at www.leonardohotels.co.uk and are strictly subject to availability. Blackout dates apply. Free room night is based on a maximum of 2 adults sharing. A third person supplement will be applied for any additional guest.

4.6. General booking terms and conditions will apply to rooms booked under the Free Room Night Awards. Free Room Night Awards can be cancelled up to 2pm, on day of arrival. Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points will only be refunded to Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland members who cancel before 2pm on day of arrival. Any Free Room Night Award cancelled after 2pm on day of arrival will forfeit the corresponding Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points for the Free Room Night.

5. Benefits

5.1 Leonardo Hotels Reward benefits are awarded to a Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Member based on the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Members tier level. The member must quote his or her membership number at the time of booking and prior to check in to avail of Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland benefits.

5.2 Leonardo Hotels Reward benefits are subject to availability and can be altered by the Company at its sole discretion either partially or wholly.

6. Tier Levels

6.1 Tier levels are based on room night production.

6.2. On enrolment, all members will be allocated into Floor 1. A Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member will be upgraded to the next tier once they achieve the qualifying number of room nights

6.3 Once the new level is reached, member will keep that level for one year, unless they qualify for the next level up in the meantime.

6.4 A Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member will be automatically downgraded if their room night production stays static for more than 12 months.

6.5 If, after 12 months of being upgraded, the A Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member has not stayed for the number of nights required to keep the membership level, the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member will be moved down one level.

6.6 A Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member will not be moved down more than one level in a 12 month period.

7. Termination

7.1 A Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Membership and/or the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Programme may be terminated by the Company at any time.

7.2 Any Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member who has not earned Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points for twelve consecutive months will forfeit their Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points. Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points will therefore expire after twelve consecutive months if the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member has not earned Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points over a twelve consecutive month period. Member will be notified by email before the expiration date.

7.3 Any Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member who has not earned or redeemed Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points for eighteen consecutive months ie account has been inactive, will have their Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland membership terminated and all Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Points in the name of the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member will be forfeited. Member will be notified before the expiration date.

8. Governing Law

8.1 These terms and conditions are to be construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and the parties submit themselves to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.

9. Prior Loyalty Programme

9.1 The Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland Programme will supersede and replace all other loyalty programmes operated by the Company (including Your Inn, Priority Guest and Jurys Rewards)

10. Notices

10.1 The Company's address for the service of notices shall be the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland for Guests Programme, Leonardo Hotel Central Reservations, 245 Broad Street, Birmingham, B1 2HQ

11. Waiver

11.1 The Company will not be prejudiced or restricted by any indulgence of forbearance extended to the Leonardo Rewards UK & Ireland member. No waiver by the Company in respect of a breach of these terms and conditions shall operate as a waiver in respect of any subsequent breach of these terms and conditions.
