Our wedding service is proud to offer flexibility so that your wedding can be customised to your exact specifications and plan. Our Middlesbrough hotel has eight functions rooms, all available with air-conditioning. Our largest room is the grand Cleveland Suite, which is able to host up to 320 guests for a wedding breakfast and include a state-of-the-art LED ceiling, while our more intimate suites on the ninth floor offer views over Middlesbrough for smaller wedding parties.
Leonardo Hotel Middlesbrough is also licensed for civil ceremonies, allowing you to hold the whole wedding celebration in one venue if you wish.

From the beginning to the end, we make sure that everything runs smoothly, and that all our services, experience, and friendly staff ensure your day is without stress and exactly what you want it to be.

Budget is, of course, at the heart of the planning and we aim to make this as simple as possible with our all-inclusive packages. Customising the package to your wants and needs, we can work out the room hire, food and drink, entertainment, or overnight accommodation costs into one set figure to avoid any surprising additional costs later on, allowing you to focus on your special day.
Asian weddings
The Cleveland suite is a popular choice for all Asian celebrations such as Wedding Receptions, Pre- Wedding Receptions, Engagement parties, Birthday parties for all ages, Mehndi parties and Eid Celebrations. The suite is decorated in red and gold and has a modern and contemporary feel, it can be hired privately and holds up to 320 guests. Outside caterers have use of our banqueting kitchen for the service of meals and our package includes free corkage on soft drinks.
We are experienced in running Asian celebrations of all sizes. Whether you need recommendations on staging suppliers, florists, make up and henna artists our dedicated events coordinator can recommend trusted suppliers free of charge to help you create your perfect day.

Hosting up to 320 guests in a banquet style set up and newly refurbished with an LED ceiling, the Cleveland Suite is our largest and most impressive function room. Situated on the first floor, the suite boasts a private entrance that can be used as a reception area, a private cloakroom, and a dancefloor.
The contemporary décor and lighting choices (LED ceiling) can be customised to match your colour theme and room design. You can also find the Cleveland Bar in the adjoining the suite.
The suite can be broken up into five rooms: the Ayton, Bedale, Carlton, Eston, and Dinsdale rooms, each ideal for smaller functions.
Part of the Cleveland Suite, the Ayton, Bedale & Carlton Suites can host up to 70 guests, and offer a private entrance and direct access to the Cleveland Bar.
The two smaller rooms making up the Cleveland Suite, the Eston & Dinsdale Suites can accommodate wedding parties of up to 40 guests, and also offer a private entrance and direct access to the Cleveland Bar.
Situated on the ninth floor and within easy access of the lifts, the Farndale & Glaisdale suites are perfect for smaller weddings of up to 30 guests. The two large windows afford views overlooking the town, and let in lots of natural light.
