Leonardo Hotel London Watford is located in the heart of Watford town centre, just 2 minutes walk from Watford Junction mainline station on Clarendon Road. There are fantastic links from here to both Central London and the North of Uk.

The hotel is within a very short walking distance to all Watford town has to offer, the Harlequin Shopping area, Nightlife at Watfords Café Quarter on the High Street, Watford FC at Vicarage Road, the Palace Theatre and the corporate hub base in the area.

Central London, London Euston, is just 20 minutes by train from Watford Junction station. The hotel is also just 5 minutes from the Metropolitan line also serving Central London. Buckingham Palace and Wembley Stadium are just 25 minutes away, making it a perfect base location for visitors. 

Watford’s location is also ideal for visitors travelling to and from all major airports in London with Luton airport just 19 miles and Heathrow airport just 26 miles away.

Parking Information

Discounted parking is available to guests at the nearby Sutton car park that’s open 24/7 and is permanently manned by Citi Park. From Clarendon Road turn onto Gartlett Road and follow the road around to Sutton Car Park. It’s a 1-2 minute walk across from the hotel. Post code: WD17 2PS. After parking your vehicle at Sutton, please enter your vehicle registration on the Citi Park tablet at Reception, this will discount your stay to £4 per 24 hours. Payments can be made via their Citi Park app or at the Pay Station located on their ground floor. Payment must be made before you exit Sutton. Sutton car park accepts credit and debit cards only, cash payments are not possible.

Take M1 northbound at Brent Cross and exit at junction 5 for Watford.

At slip roundabout, take the second exit onto A4008 (signposted Town Centre). At Waterfields roundabout take the second exit onto A411 towards Town Centre and onto Watford Gyratory.

Turn left (one-way) towards Ring Road.

Get into right hand lane and bear right onto Upton Road. Keep right then turn right into Clarendon Road.

Take M1 southbound and exit at Junction 5 for Watford.

At slip road roundabout take the third exit onto A4008 (signposted Town Centre). At Waterfields roundabout, take the second exit onto A411 towards town centre and onto Watford Gyratory.

Turn left (one-way) towards Ring Road.

Get into right hand lane and bear right onto Upton Road. Keep right then turn right into Clarendon Road.

  • Get the Stanstead Express to Liverpool Street Station.
  • Get the Tube (Metropolitan Line) to Euston Square.
  • Walk to London Euston Station from here (about 5 mins).
  • From Euston get the London Midlands overground to Watford Junction.
  • We are just 8 minutes’ walk from Watford Junction mainline station.
  • Please allow about 2 hours travel time.

By car

Join M4 at junction 4 exiting onto M25 at junction 4b (approx. 1 ½ miles). Continue on M25 (signposted Watford) and exist at junction 20 to roundabout. Take first exist onto A41 (signposted London NW, Watford). At the next roundabout take second exit onto A411. Continue along A411 onto Watford Gyratory one-way system (signposted Ring Road). Turn left into Clarendon Road (signposted Watford Junction Station) and hotel is on your immediate left.

At roundabout take the second exit onto Airport Way and continue to A505 (signposted Other Routes). Continue along A505 to A1081 (signposted St. Albans) and at Kidney Wood Roundabout take the second exit onto M1 spur. At roundabout take the first exist and join M1. Leave M1 at junction 5.

At slip road roundabout, take the second exit onto A4008 (signposted Town Centre). At Waterfields roundabout, take the second exist onto A411 towards town centre and onto Watford Gyratory.

Turn left (one-way) towards Ring Road.

Get into right hand lane and bear right onto Upton Road. Keep right turning right into Clarendon Road.

Exit Watford Junction Railway Station. Walking distance to hotel 0.5 miles via Clarendon Road (opposite). Hotel situated at far end on the right hand side.
