Learn about Southampton’s history on an exciting ghost tour of the city. Find out about important events, such as the Southampton Plot, a chilling conspiracy against King Henry V of England. Or hear about Francis Cartwright, who died during the French raids.
During this theatrical event, you’ll walk through some of Southampton’s most historic streets, stopping off at iconic buildings such as The Red Lion, Westgate and Tudor House. The ghost tour features live actors and plenty of scares, so prepare to be thrilled!

Looking for events at Southampton music venues? Head to The 1865 on 21st August to enjoy songs by the hit band Solstice. Formed in 1980, Solstice are a UK-based progressive rock band founded by guitarist Andy Glass. Over the years, they have recorded two live and five studio albums.

Come and see the fantastic theatre production of Bugsy Malone at Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre. Set in 1929 in New York City, this charming comedy follows the rivalry between two street gangs and a well-meaning boxer. Packed with incredible songs from the original Alan Parker film, including ‘You Give A Little Love’ and ‘My Name Is Tallulah’, Bugsy Malone is truly unmissable.

If you’re a fan of Guns N’ Roses, come and enjoy music by the Guns 2 Roses tribute band in Southampton. Established in 2002, Guns 2 Roses are the longest-running and most internationally recognised Guns N’ Roses tribute band ever to exist. See them live this summer and enjoy the magic of pure rock and roll. Sing along to classic songs such as ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ and ‘November Rain’.
Guns 2 Roses are the only Guns N’ Roses tribute to have played live with four members of Guns N’ Roses. Their Southampton concert will take place at The Brook, an atmospheric independent music venue housed in a beautiful building.

Searching for the best music events in Southampton? If you’re a fan of disco music, make sure to book a ticket to Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King’s Southampton concert. King became a disco sensation during the 1970s and 80s and is best known for her hit single ‘Shame’. Watch her perform live this August at The 1865 and get ready to dance the night away.

Come and take part in Southhampton Pride this year, a family-friendly event in the heart of the city. Watch the incredible Pride parade take over the streets of Southampton, stopping off in Guildhall Square at midday and consisting of hundreds of LGBTQIA+ community supporters. Enjoy amazing live entertainment throughout the day as well as delicious food from various stalls.

KAPOW Wrestling is the UK’s best family-friendly wrestling federation, and this summer they’re bringing a fun-filled event to Southampton. Come and watch some live wrestling at The Hobbit pub this August and get ready for an action-packed show.
