America’s Route 66 has long been a bucket list item for many… who wouldn’t want to take the famous journey in a Cadillac with the roof down, listening to some rock classics and seeing several states along the way?!

Well now we have our own version to go onto the bucket list… introducing ‘Route 57’ – a road trip winding through some must-see places England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. So-named because it has 57 recommended stops along the way, including great cities filled with history, charming small villages, parks, moors, mountains, rivers and much more.

As it’s no small feat to complete the journey, it’s been broken into ten shorter road trips that can be done all at once or one at a time and in any order. You could take a couple per year if you wanted to complete the whole route, or just do one that you like the sound of and say you drove part of Route 57.

See Route 57 here, complete with pictures and descriptions of all 57 destinations and a map at the end for you to plan your journey, however much of it you’d like to do and where-ever you like to begin it from.

Let’s add it to the bucket lists and see people from all over the world come for the road trip, just like Route 66.
