The superb and exciting British Airways i360 is well under construction and is due to be opened by the end of the summer 2016.   The attraction will provide visitors to popular destination in the South East of London a ‘walk on air experience’ with a similar visitor experience to London Eye.

The i360 was designed by the same architects David Marks and Julia Barfield of the famously known London Eye.  The i360 is currently the world’s tallest observation tower and the first vertical cable car.  The attraction is 10 times the size of London Eye and can hold a maximum capacity of 200 visitors.

The Brighton landscape is a unique vision like no other.  With the i360 Vertical Cable Car, you can discover 26 miles of Brighton’s scenic and breath-taking crystal blue seas, dramatic chalk cliffs, the UNESCO World Biosphere, grand Regency architecture, South Downs National Park and the tiny labyrinthine streets of the Lanes. 

The Cable Car is a fully enclosed futuristic and spacious glass pod that will glide visitors slowly up to 450 feet with 360 degree views of Brighton.  The Cable Car is fully accessible for wheelchair users and will be heated and air-conditioned throughout the year.

You can download a free multi-lingual app before boarding where you can learn about the British i360 and discover different landmarks.  There is also a kids section in the app with fun treasure hunts and interesting facts.

The Beach Building

The Beach Building offers the general public and i360 visitors a chance to dine by the sea and take in the gorgeous sea views.  The Beach Building has several dining options on offer. 

The Belle Vue is a 400 seater casual and relaxed restaurant with views of the West Pier with a terrace.  During the evenings, the restaurant will transform with elegance and signature dishes.

The Tea Room offer fabulous views of Brighton Beach, West Pier and Brighton Pier with a cup of coffee or tea, cake or light breakfast.

The Beach Café offers a casual ambience with light bites and on the go options.

Sky Bar

The Sky Bar

The i360 transforms into the Sky Bar serving a glass of the finest sparkling wine in England, Nyetimber while looking on at the beautiful night time views. 

There will be a number of events taking place at the Sky Bar with wine tastings and live music performances. 

You can expect a visit to British Airways i360 to last approximately one hour which includes pre-ride experience, the ride on the Vertical Cable car, shop and exhibition.  For more information on ticket prices click here.
