We know how stressful planning can a holiday can be so we have picked four of Leonardo Hotel’s favorite Seaside cities and created quick city guides on things to do with kids.
Our First Guide covers fun things to do in Brighton whatever the weather because we know that English weather just cannot be trusted! Should the heavens begin to pour on your holiday, or the summer weather finally arrives and the sun decides to shine, you will have family fun activities at the ready.
So without further ado, here is Leonardo Hotel’s pick of Brighton’s top kid’s attractions:
Stroll along the promenade and discover Peter Pan’s Adventure Golf. The adventure golf offers a 18 hole championship putting course including a half pipe tunnel, slopes and drop throughs- it’s the perfect way to keep the children entertained!
Adventure Golf is open 11am- 6pm March to October, and 11am-4.30pm November to February.
The Peter Pan’s Playground is right next door with slides, water spouts and climbing apparatus for small children. Entrance is free and opening hours are year round daylight opening.
The Peter Pan’s adventure Golf and Playground is a bit of a walk from Leonardo Hotels taking around 35 minutes, however, if you are already on the beach, at the Sea Life Aquarium or Brighton Pier, the walk is a short 15 minutes.
Brighton Pier is a must see if you are visiting with children. There are plenty of arcades games, thrill rides, traditional rides (including dodgems), the Palace of fun and The Dome to keep both children and parents entertained. There is also a restaurant, food kiosks, and a milkshake bar to keep everyone well fed and happy.
Brighton pier opening times vary depending on the activity, are weather permitting and may be subject to slight variations.
Brighton Pier is a short 22 minute walk from Leonardo Hotel Brighton.
Engage the children in an exciting treasure trail around Brighton learning about its history along the way. Brighton offers two treasure trails- one around the ‘Cultural Quarter’ and the other along the ‘ Seafront ’ both offering two different mysteries to solve. This is a great activity for the whole family to get stuck into and it offers a little history, culture and a way to see the hotspots of Brighton while keeping the children entertained!
With ten thousand toys and models in its catalogue, the Brighton Toy and Model Museum will not disappoint. Explore a ‘treasure trove’ of toys and models from priceless model train sets to period antique toys- this museum displays toys from the last 100 years including pieces from the world’s top toymakers.
It is a short 6 minute walk from Leonardo Hotel Brighton to the Toy and Model Museum.
Explore under the sea at Brighton’s Sea Life aquarium with over 1500 incredible creatures and a fantastic underwater tunnel where you can watch turtles and sharks swimming above you! Sea Life Brighton is the first aquarium in the UK to offer a Glass bottom boat ride, as well as offering a ‘behind the scenes’ tour with interactive rock pool experience where you can touch crabs and starfish.
Sea Life Brighton is open 10am-6pm everyday with last admissions at 5pm.
Brighton Sea Life is a 22 minute walk from Leonardo Hotel Brighton.
