The Mayflower Theatre is the biggest theatre along the south coast, bringing a huge variety of shows to Southampton, including musicals, drama, comedy, and ballet. Tudor House is Southampton’s most significant historic building, located in the city’s Old Town. Dating back to the 1180s, this Grade I listed building is now a museum where you can learn more about Southampton’s residents through the years. The attraction features a variety of interesting exhibits and a garden which has undergone many transformations. There are also fun activities that children can enjoy throughout the museum.

Located in Southampton’s Civic Centre, Southampton City Art Gallery is a must-visit attraction for art lovers. Opened in 1939, the gallery features over 5,000 works covering six centuries, from paintings and sculptures to photography and film. Explore brilliant displays such as Contemporary Art and 18th Century British Painting. As well as a wonderful permanent collection, the gallery also has displays that change regularly, offering new experiences with each visit.
Southampton City Art Gallery is free to visit. It’s located only a short walk from the SeaCity Museum.
